Biaxin Indications

Biaxin is indicated to treat infections or diseases caused by bacteria like:

- Infections in the skin and stomach ulcers;

Biaxin Drug Interactions

Biaxin should not be taken with:
- Sildenafil or vardenafil;
- Seizure medications which include carbamazepine phenytoin and valproic acid;
- HMG-COA Reductase Inhibitors like atorvastin simvastatin lovastatin and others;
- Heart medicines for irregular heartbeats like digoxin and disopyramide;
- Ergotamine or dihydroergotamine;
- Benzodiazepines like diazepam triazolam alprazolam and others;
- Asthma medications like theophylline;
- Any other antibiotics;
- Antihistamines such as terfenadine and astemizole;
- Anticoagulants like warfarin;
