Cymbalta Indications

Cymbalta is indicated to treat major depressive disorder (MDD) and for the management of pain associated with diabetic peripheral
neuropathy.

Cymbalta Warnings

Do not take Cymbalta if you have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as:
- Tranylcypromine (Parnate) during the last 2 weeks;
- Phenelzine (Nardil);
- Isocarboxazid (Marplan);

Before taking Cymbalta, tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- A phenothiazine;
- A quinolone antibiotic;
- A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI);
- A tricyclic antidepressant;
- An antiarrhythmic;
- Quinidine;
- Venlafaxine (Effexor);

Cymbalta Side Effects

If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking Cymbalta and contact your doctor immediately or seek
emergency medical treatment:
- A rash or hives;
- An allergic reaction;
- An irregular heartbeat or pulse;
- Chills or fever;
- High blood pressure (severe headache blurred vision);
- Low blood pressure (dizziness weakness);
- Unusual bleeding or bruising;

In case of any of the following less serious side effects, continue taking Cymbalta and talk to your doctor:
- Anxiety;
- Changes in appetite or weight;
- Constipation;
- Decreased sex drive;
- Diarrhea;
- Difficulty concentrating;
- Difficulty having an orgasm;
- Dry mouth;
- Headache;
- Impotence;
- Increased sweating;
- Nausea;
- Nervousness;
- Sleepiness or insomnia;
- Tremor;
- Weakness;

Cymbalta Overdose

Symptoms of a Cymbalta overdose may include:
- Agitation;
- Drowsiness;
- Enlarged pupils;
- Hyperactivity;
- Nausea;
- Seizures;
- Tremor;
- Vomiting;
