Epivir Indications

Epivir is indicated to treatment in the class of drugs called Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NRTIs).

Epivir Warnings

Before taking Epivir, tell your doctor if you have:
- Problems with your muscles;
- Problems with your blood counts;
- Pancreatitis;
- Liver disease;
- Kidney disease;

Epivir Side Effects

The possible side effects of Epivir are:
- Alone or in combination;
- Fatal cases;
- Have been reported with the use of reverse transcriptase inhibitors;
- Lactic acidosis;
- Severe liver problems;

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience:
- Yellowing of the skin or eyes;
- Weakness in the arms and legs;
- Weakness and tiredness;
- Vomiting;
- Unusual or unexpected stomach discomfort;
- Shortness of breath;
- Pain in the upper stomach area;
- Nausea;

Notify your doctor immediately if you develop symptoms of pancreatitis including:
- Abdominal pain;
- Diarrhea;
- Nausea;
- Vomiting;
