Sinemet Indications

Sinemet is indicated in the treatment of disorders such as Parkinson\'s disease and its symptoms:
- Poor muscular control and / or spasms;
- Stiffness;
- Tremors;

Sinemet Warnings

Patients who are suffering from any of the disorders that have been mentioned here should not be allowed to use Sinemet or
should be prescribed a lower dose of Sinemet:
- A hormonal disorder;
- Arteriosclerosis;
- Glaucoma;
- Heart attack;
- High blood pressure;
- Intestinal or stomach ulcer;
- Irregular heartbeat;
- Kidney disease;
- Liver disease;
- Past or current skin cancer (especially malignant melanoma);
- Psychiatric disease such as depression;
- Respiratory disease;

Sinemet Overdose

The symptoms that could be triggered by an overdose with Sinemet are known to include:
- Vomiting;
- Unconsciousness;
- Nausea;
- Muscle weakness spasms or weakness;
- Irregular heartbeat;
- Hallucinations;
- Eyelid spasms;
- Diarrhea;
- Confusion;
- Agitation;

Sinemet Side Effects

Sinemet\'s severe side effects include:
- Unusual changes in your regular behavior or mood;
- Uncontrolled movements of a body part;
- Suicidal thoughts or depression;
- Severe vomiting;
- Seizures;
- Nausea;
- Irregular heartbeat;
- Diarrhea;
- Chest fluttering;
- Allergic reaction;

A treatment with Sinemet could also trigger some other less severe but more common side effects like:
- Anxiety or agitation;
- Blurred vision;
- Confusion;
- Constipation;
- Darkening of your sweat urine or saliva;
- Decreased appetite;
- Drowsiness or dizziness;
- Dry mouth;
- Fatigue;
- Hand tremor;
- Insomnia;
- Mild vomiting;
- Muscle twitches;
- Nausea;
- Nightmares;
